Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are the new skin-boosting technology taking the market by storm. The new face and body injectable is fast gaining traction for its ability to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin.

With over 90 clinical trials and a proven track record in tissue and cartilage regenerative medicine, the evidence for Polynucleotide’s power is undisputed in both the medical and aesthetic fields.  Once filtered and ultra-purified, natural DNA fractions initiate your body’s natural fibroblast production, resulting in increased collagen (47% in 23 days) and a thicker, healthier epidermis (52% in 23 days). Thanks to polynucleotides’ antioxidant properties, inflammation is reduced and youthful volume and hydration is restored.   The list of applications seems endless, but key uses include;

Polynucleotides are the latest revolutionary tools in regenerative medicine that work on a cellular level to repair tissue and boost skin quality.

In the form of polymerised polynucleotide-based injectable gels, polynucleotides work by stimulating fibroblasts which encourages cell turnover, improves elasticity, boosts collagen production and hydrates skin thanks to powerful wound-healing polymers.

Polynucleotides also calm inflammation and rebalance melanocyte activity to create an even and refreshed skin tone.

How often should I have polynucleotides?

  • Polynucleotides are suitable at any age, at any time of year.

  • Whilst there is a benefit to having even one syringe of polynucleotides, we recommend a course of at least 3, each spaced 3 weeks apart.

  • Polynucleotides can also be incorporated into skin booster treatments such as Lumi Eyes, Profhilo, and Redensity 1 from Teoxane and many more of the treatments I offer at Nurse Gray Aesthetics.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does a chemical peel work?
    The peel used at Nurse Gray Aesthetics is an innovative peel treatment, using patented 2-phase technology. This provides a bio-stimulating, revitalising and peel-like effect. The combination of these components results in a mild exfoliation, stimulating the biosynthetic process, restoring the structure of the skin. It encourages the growth of new skin cells, which results in smoother, firmer, and more even-toned skin. Chemical peels can also help improve the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, and other signs of ageing, reduces pore size and hyperpigmentation.
